In the late 1920s, in the Celio district, Caffè Martini opened to the public: a historic establishment, with elegant furnishings, overlooking the Colosseum. Its refined atmosphere, unique view and cosmopolitan clientele quickly led it to become a meeting point for citizens. Since the postwar period, Caffè Martini became an international salon in the center of the city.

One of the ancient restaurant in Rome

Rome and the Colosseum remain the absolute stars of Caffè Martini, thanks to the large windows that allow one to admire the unchanged beauty of its monuments and lights.

In the 1990s, Café Martini was finally taken over by the Rossi family, who decided to renovate it in full respect of the original architectural vision and its retro charm.
